Alice Faye Morris was appointed to the DEMCO Board of Directors January 4, 2000. She is Chairperson of the Policy Committee, a member of the Board's Finance Committee, and a member of the Manager's Evaluation Committee.

Morris is a lifelong resident of East Feliciana Parish and resides in the Bluff Creek area. She is an educator, employed by the East Feliciana Parish School Board, and teaches at Slaughter Elementary School.

She previously served as a member of the East Feliciana Rural Water System and is a former member of the Democratic Executive Committee and Board of Elections Supervisors. Morris is an active member of the Bluff Creek Baptist Church.

District 5 is located south of Louisiana Highways 67 and 10, east of Louisiana Highways 65 and 965, west of St. Helena Parish and north of East Baton Rouge Parish.
